Fees

To improve client access to assessment and treatment services Learning Curves Psychological Consultancy aims to set fees at a highly competitive and affordable level.

The Australian Psychological Society sets guidelines for fees for psychological services. Up until June 2016, the standard rate recommended for a one-hour appointment was $238.

All standard consultations at Learning Curves Psychological Consultancy are $125 for a 50 minute session. For a standard consultation with one of our Psychology Board of Australia area of practice endorsed Psychologists, the fee is $145 for a 50 minute session.

Assessment rates are different to our general counselling and treatment rates.  A referral by your GP under a Mental Health Plan is for treatment sessions not assessment.  Medicare rebates only cover treatment costs.

Our Psychologists are fully accredited with endorsements in areas of practice expertise such as educational and developmental to provide assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder; ADHD; Learning & Behavioural Difficulties; IQ/Cognitive abilities; together with temperament / personality issues from preschool years through to senior years.
